Dear Brian,
You've left us behind, heartbroken. We might have been mere neighbours when we first met in 2011, but over these past 11 years, we have come to love you and Betty like family. We miss you terribly but also feel very privileged to have known and loved you for as long as we did.
You have been a wonderful neighbour and friend not just to us, but to everyone in the neighbourhood. When Eileen's cats died, you were the one who found her a dog. When we went away, we could always rely on you to keep an eye on the house. You would bring in our bins without being asked - and not just when we were away! You were there for us, no matter what. We said it then but we want to say it again: Thank You.
We will always remember you for your wonderful stories, your brilliant sense of humour and that mischievous twinkle in your eye. No doubt, you're having a party in heaven and making everyone laugh. Our loss, heaven's gain. We will always remember you with much love and fondness.
All our love,
The Varadaraj Family
